IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING
I take a lot of pride in my work, and as an artist, I have an urge to show off the beautiful imagery I create with photography. It shows that I am an active photographer. It is very important for me to have the ability to use those photos online and in print. I LOVE showing the world the photos I take. I submit weddings to different wedding blogs, and inspire brides worldwide. If you take pride in the work you put into your wedding, and want it to be an inspiration for others, I’d love to work with you. Click on the “raves” link on the menu to see where I’ve been featured. In order to officially book me as your photographer, I need a signed contract and a deposit.
MY STYLE
I try to be as invisible as I can while still getting great shots from different angles. I love photographing the couple, and looking for intimate and special moments of just you two. The only time I give you direction on how to pose is during the formal portraits with family. During the ceremony and reception, I’ll just photograph your wedding day as it unravels. I love shooting the little details that make your wedding “you.” If you have a special photo you want, let me know ahead of time; I’ll make it happen.
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
Having an engagement session let’s you practice loosening up so you can be yourself around your photographer. In my experience, there’s no better preparation for your wedding day better than working with your photographer at an engagement session. Most important, an engagement session is an expression of your personality. Choose a location that tells something about the two of you. First dates, proposals, favorite hang outs, all of these can make great spots for the engagement shoot. Maybe do it at the local fairground. Or do it at the movie theater. Or at the subway. Do you want to ride the bike along your favorite neighborhood? There are endless possibilities. I will travel up to 2 hours roundtrip for an engagement session. Any time over is charged at $50 per hour.
THE WEDDING DAY
Don’t forget to bring your wedding invitation! I’d love to photograph it. Please turn in the payment when I start; I don’t want you worrying about payments at the end of the night. I want you having fun in the dance floor! During the ceremony, try not to face away from my camera. Try to stand in an angle so that I can still photograph your profile. When you choose a location to shoot the portrait session (formal photos), I suggest places with visual interest, like a park, or even a city with cool walls as background.
This is what I want for you in your wedding: Relaxation. Happiness. Love. Lots of affection. Togetherness. Fun. Most importantly, be yourself! It is your day, and it will be special no matter what. Don’t stress about the little things. I promise it won’t make a difference 10 years from now!
AFTER THE WEDDING
I don’t believe in waiting 6 months to receive your photos. I think 1 month sounds about right. When you receive your CD of edited photos, copy them to your computer, and send me a list of those you want artistically retouched. All the images you will receive are edited for color correction, minor blemish removal, etc. They don’t have watermarks. I do take my time editing the photos, because I want YOU to absolutely love them and love your wedding even more. Then I’ll send the artistically retouched photos on a CD to your mailing address. The album can take a couple of weeks to be finished, so be patient. How to send me your list instructions.
TESTIMONIALS

I AM able to meet with you before you book me. I can show you what the albums look and feel like, what the metallic prints look like, and you can get to know me better. My schedule is busy, but I feel meeting my client is the best thing to do, in order to see if we are a good fit for each other. I only ask that the client comes to Germantown, MD to meet with me.
EQUIPMENT
I use a Nikon D3 camera body, a 17-55mm f/2.8 Nikkor lens, and a 70-200mm f/2.8 Nikkor telephoto lens. I have backup equipment just in case of emergency.
