Mary and Brandon got married on September 15, 2012, and held their reception at the beautiful Elizabeth’s on L, in Washington, DC. Her wedding is one of the most elegant I’ve ever shot. The venue itself was gorgeous; it was full of ornate framed portraits, french furniture, and jaw dropping chandeliers. The centerpieces were stacked up books; it was very simple, and there were lots of wineglasses on the table. The engraving on the rings were inspired by a poem by Jelaluddin Rumi: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” The rings had the engraving “I’ll meet you there.”
They gave out little jelly jars as wedding favors. The guests were asked to write their best wishes and advice for the happy couple, instead of signing a guestbook.
