Zareth was lovely to work with, and I’m so happy with our wedding photos! She’s got a great eye and caught many great moments between family members, couples, etc. She’s also got a great eye for color—the photos were vibrant and bold, exactly what I was hoping for. She got them to me incredibly quickly, too—everyone was shocked that I didn’t have to wait weeks before posting my entire album. One guest also specifically complimented Zareth’s conduct during the wedding—unlike some wedding photographers, she didn’t “take over” the wedding. She floated around and got great pictures without forcing people to pose or getting in anyone’s way. She’s super talented, and I highly recommend her!

Zareth did a great job with my engagement session in November. She was quick to respond to questions I had prior to the session and had our cd of pictures in the mail the next day. I was impressed with how she retouched the photos that we selected and was happy that she was able to create an artistic touch to our pictures. I am definitely using her for my wedding this April and have confidence that she will do a great job.

Zareth was extremely accommodating and took amazing photos for us. She was very creative and took many shots that didn’t looked posed or uncomfortable. The proofs came promptly and Zareth continued to check in on us to make sure we liked our photos. Great experience!

When my fiance and I began to look for photographers for our engagement and wedding, we did a lot of research and our main goals were budget friendliness and artistic ability. After doing some research online I came across Zadesignz. Zareth from day one was very responsive with all the questions I had and that put me at ease at once. We decided to select Zadesignz for our engagement photoshoot and our wedding photography. We had our a engagement shoot at the Kennedy Center. We were a little nervous at first when the shoot began but Zareth put at us at ease with her professionalism and creative style. Needless to say when the pictures were released we are more than excited and pleased, they came out FANTASTIC. We couldn’t wait for our wedding day pictures to be taken. The day of my wedding I had planned on taking “getting ready” shots at the church, but we got behind on time and I ended up getting ready at the hotel. I called Zareth and explained the situation and in the next 15 minutes she was at the hotel room taking my “getting ready” pictures. Zareth and husband Danny were so professional and captured every part of our wedding day. Many guests didn’t even know they were there until they saw our wedding pictures. I was extremely pleased with the service and product that I received and I would recommend Zadesignz to ANYONE looking for photography for their special day!
Zareth is truly an amazing person and photographer. It was so nice to work with her and her husband during my big day.I am super picky and detail oriented, and there was no detail that went un-photographed in my wedding. Not only were the pictures amazing but they were at my house the week we got back from our honeymoon which was perfect because it was just in time to get albums made for Christmas. Not only did she make sure I was happy with her work and received everything on time, she also submitted my wedding to Capitol Romance which is a super awesome blog dedicated to offbeat weddings. I really felt like she went above and beyond to make sure that everything about my wedding was perfect. I definitely recommend!!
I loved every single picture that Zareth and her husband took the day of my wedding. Not only were they beautiful, but I recieved three disks full of all the pictures in the mail the following Tuesday! I gave a brief description of the style and finish that I wanted (vintage/aged) and she did a wonderful job editing the photos. She’s a wonderful photographer!

First of all i want to say how SPECIAL baby and i felt after looking at the maternity pictures!! The pictures are PERFECT. I am so glad that Zaret took our pictures, it is a choice i will NEVER regret!! Second, she also did our baby shower invitations. It’s elegant, beautiful, clean, creative, special, i can keep going and going, the important thing again is that Zaret made baby and me feel like Hollywood stars ♥♥ I would definitely recommend ZADESIGNZ for mothers to be!
Zareth and her husband did such a great job at our engagement session! They made my fiance and I very relaxed and comfortable, making it easy to capture great photographs! They met us where we wanted, were happy to cater to our quirky photo ideas and put their own artistic style into the session. I was so happy to find ZADesignz after months of looking at photographers who didn’t do exactly what we wanted and had outrageous prices. We felt like the quality of the work put out by ZADesignz for the price was a steal and we couldn’t be happier with our engagement photos! We have had so many compliments and they keep coming. Recommend to see photographer’s website first to get an idea of her style. She is great on a low budget, works with you to get the package you want. Very accommodating and super easy to get in touch with her. Loved the majority of the pictures that we took with her, but is a bit passive with giving ideas or poses to do. Wish she had been more outspoken in this area and directed the shoot better. I would highly recommend making a must-list of shots you absolutely want to have. She is absolutely wonderful at retouching and editing pictures. Did I also mention she is a graphic designer?! She designed our invitations AND some of our decor for our reception. She is absolutely amazing at this! Highly recommend her for your photographic or design services. She is very easy to work with, great artistic eye, and super reasonable prices…

We used Zareth for our engagement shoot and really enjoyed her and her husband. We received nearly 350 pictures from an hour long session. We had originally planned on taking our photos in a garden in Georgetown; however, it was closed during the time we scheduled the shoot (poor planning on my part). Zareth was flexible and quick to think of great places in Georgetown that we could go to have our photos taken. We covered a great deal of Georgetown and had many different scenery options to choose from when our pictures came. The only area of improvement I would recommend is for the photographer to be a little more agressive in giving posing ideas or suggestions. For someone who is unfamiliar with ‘modeling’ for lack of a better word, I could have used a little guidance on coming up with some more unique poses. The quality of pictures was wonderful and I was very impressed with the value. We received our pictures and edits extremely fast and even had a sneak peak of them on ZADesignz facebook page before receiving them. This was great because I was very anxious to see them. Overall, we were extremely happy with the photos that we received and would definitely recommend Zareth to anyone looking to take engagement pictures in the DC, MD, VA area.

Zareth is definitely one of the best! My fiance is currently living in San Diego and we had just a few days to find an engagement photographer for his last-minute trip out. I scoured the web all night long and thank goodness I came across her. She responded right away and was so accessible, she immediately put my frantic mind at ease. We went back and forth several times discussing possible locations and style and she got us right away! Even suggesting cool props that turned out gorgeous. We were both so excited for the shoot and it far exceeded our expectations. Zareth made us feel comfortable and we even had moments where we forgot the camera was there and just enjoyed being in a gorgeous setting together. Little did we know that Zareth was making amazing shots the entire time! I have gotten SO many great compliments on my photos – “amazing”, “artistic”, “beautiful” and it goes on. Our family and friends are blown away and I can’t wait to use Zareth for the Big Day! Zareth is professional and a brilliant, creative photographer. Our experience with Zareth was wonderful! She photographed our newborn at 2 weeks. She was gentle and worked so well with him. She was friendly and proficient and got the most magnificent photos of our slightly fussy and wide awake baby! Despite him moving around a lot she was able to coax him into position and got the cutest reactions from him which she captured in the split seconds he decided to close his eyes and take a break from fidgeting! We loved having her and it felt like she was a family member because of how personable she was. We will definitely be using ZaDesign again to capture the special moments as our newborn grows

Zareth and her husband are an extremely talented duo of photographers. They did a fantastic job for my engagement photos. I chose them for the creative and personal touch visible in their portfolio, and was not at all disappointed. They helped create beautiful, intimate shots that were beautiful even before the skilled editing that was done. I highly recommend them for any photography sessions. I was so happy with ZADesignz that I hired them for my rehearsal dinner and wedding as well! They are so friendly, easy to work with, and extremely timely in communications and in returning the proofs/edited shots. I can not recommend Zareth enough!

Newborn session- Mikaya – 2 weeks old. I am very happy with how the newborn pictures came out. Everyone in the family loves the pictures!! They either have it as the wallpaper for the phone or for the tablet! The pics have become a great keepsake . Zareth ( photographer) was very patient and wonderful with baby Mikayla. I recommend her to all mothersI will definitely have ZADESIGNZ take future pictures of my baby girl and future children!!

Zareth is absolutely wonderful! The photos turned out fabulous and the service was superb.
Pros
-She is creative… your wedding pictures will be interesting and beautiful
-Photojournalistic (I’m not a huge fan of staged pictures)
-Passionate about what she does
-Open and excited about different themes (we had a fiesta wedding!)
-Very responsive
-Awesome price for the work… she is sure to keep getting more expensive though so book her now!
-Quick turnaround- we got to look at our wedding photos within a week. They were posted on her blog (edited) only 3 or 4 days after the wedding.
Cons
-I wouldn’t recommend her for someone who likes staged and very traditional photos. But, come on, who likes those?!

Zareth is absolutely wonderful! She showed up the day of the wedding, with monsoon rain and all, and just rolled with it. She took the most beautiful pictures and I get so many compliments on them. Zareth, was extremely professional and wonderful with my maternity shoot. Capturing every belly pose possible and making me feel very comfortable and confident. Zareth photographed our one-hour engagement session in downtown DC at the Lincoln Memorial. It was such a busy day but she managed to get great shots. We hired Zareth to take some family portraits of our family. We wanted natural looking, photojournalistic shots. Before our photo session she asked exactly for what we wanted. I had seen some samples of her work, so I was sure of some of the shots I wanted but I knew she would also do her part to capture the best moments. We were very happy with our pictures. Great experience!
We used ZA Designz for our engagement session, and Zareth was very professional and the photos came out amazing. She was very comforting and patient, which helped us because we were slightly nervous about our first photo shoot. The retouched photos made a big difference and she was able to make the photos look like very professional photos. She was even able to remove my purse from the photo through retouching. We highly recommend her services, and she was affordable as well.

Both my fiance and I worked with Zareth for our engagement shoot, this past weekend! I happen to be the kind of person that always has a vision, and knows exactly what she wants to the tee. I was so pleased to see that Zareth was able to capture my vision for our shoot PERFECTLY! We communicated via email regularly to exchange ideas so that way the day of, everything would run smoothly. And that is exactly what happened. I was a little worried that we would have very few good pictures since our shoot was at night in D.C. and the lighting was not all that great. But it was so nice to see how we ended up having an array of ‘favorites’. Her editing skills are on point! Our pictures look natural, vibrant and flawless…and the quality is superb! I used Zareth’s services for an engagement session. She was fantastic! Very professional and helped my fiance and I get comfortable in front of the camera.
We did this session for two reasons. The first was because we wanted to design our own save the date – which she did a PHENOMENAL job of. She is a graphic designer, and will go above and beyond to get you what you want.
The second reason we wanted the session to do the session before the wedding was to get the kind of pictures we would want at our wedding – which she will be shooting as well. We got some really great pictures of us at the engagement session, and can’t wait to see what she captures at the wedding!
I recommend her without hesitation to any bride, especially the budget conscious bride – a great value for the work provided

Zareth is a great photographer. She gives you exactly what you ask for. She did not take photos for a wedding or an engagement session, but she did do a portrait session for me. She puts life into the pictures and makes them look incredible. She is affordable and flexible, which works because people have different needs for their pictures. Most photographers overlook some details, but Zareth doesn’t; Zareth is careful about everything in the picture. It is her graphic designer skills that allow her to deliver to her customers such high quality work. I’m very thankful for the work she did in my pictures and I am sure that she will deliver the same quality in the pictures she takes for others. I love my pictures.
